Suinoz Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Am on holiday in Kefalonia and heard played in a bar the other night the instrumental version of If it's all the same to you. Was this ever released on a 45 ? Sounded great B.T.W.
Quinvy Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 And it's the original side to be played. I've always thought the vocal was dreadful, Exus Trek for me everytime. 2

Citizen P Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 One of the first sounds I ever heard at The Pendulum in '72, and yes prefer Exus Trek too. Tony
45cellar Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 One of those records that hits the spot every time. I like them both and realise that "If It's All The Same To You Babe" is the PLUG SIDE, However, Always thought of Exus Trek as the main side. "If It's All The Same To You Babe" as the VOCAL to "Exus Trek" Rather than "Exus Trek" the Instrumental of "If It's All The Same To You Babe" If you know what I mean.
Prophonics 2029 Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 (edited) I know what you mean about the Exus Trek track like Bari Track track being the errr! Track against the vocal version. Taking of that the Thelma Hopkins !!!! what a killer version. Edited August 20, 2012 by Prophonics 2029
45cellar Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Exactly. Bari Track and The Vocal to Bari Track. Instrumental Perfection. Oh and there's a Vocal too (Almost an After Thought)

Guest chorleybloke Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 I don't even recall the vocal ever being played at Wigan - was it? But as is the case these days, vocal versions seem to be more in vogue than instrumentals Cheers......Pete
