Hi soulies I have recently moved to chafford hundred from Heathrow and am looking for northern/rare soul spots in Essex.I have dj,d at Bisley and many nites in surrey/hampshire.Started spinning as a mod in early 8t,s orpington civic,Ilford palais mod alldayers,la beatroute soho,saxon tavern and others i forgotten.If any one can help msg me at michaeljhedley@hotmail.co.uk

Michael, unfortunately there's not much in the way of Northern out these parts. Most folk trek into London and further afield for their fix.

I run the Northern Noise mini niter at the Kursaal in Southend...next night 8th Dec 9pm-4.30 am....all on original vinyl. Guest deejays Anton Ludwig and Dave Evison at the next one...i have recently had some master tapes transferred and have an exclusive storming version of Money Won't Change You which will get an airing....there's a great crowd and a mixture of oldies and underplayed sounds.The xmas event is the busiest with about 150 plus in.
