I've the original version on 'Gates' for sale BUT not sure if it's same version as on Musicor - anyone confirm?

Killer Northern/Crossover b/w great Deep Soul track which isn't on the B side of the Musicor disc

Thought i had it on Muiscor but can't find it?

Musicor is the first Lee Moses version. Gates was definitely later. The Fabulous 3 + 1 and The Fabulous Denos both have versions of this song predating Lee Moses and there's not a bad version in the bunch.

I also have a spare of the Musicor. Let me check condition.

Musicor version smokes the Gates version. Also the version of "Dark End Of The Street" on the flip of the Gates 45 doesn't really blow me away compared to other versions of the track.

All three of his Musicor 45s are devastating, one of my favorite artists. I think the hardest of his 45s for me to find was his first one on Lee John. I even have filed the Jimi Hendrix exploito LPs he plays on. I love Lee Moses.

I used to have a version on a pink type label that was a different version (swings more) . Bad memory though so was it Gates?

Gates is a light blue label. They are different versions, but both wonderful. The Gates version is faster, more manic and not as sparse. I have a spare Musicor one.
