Think this is because the Fairmount copies are vinyl and the Hemisphere are styrene and the Fairmount pressing sounds a lot better hence being more desirable .

I'm sure i read this somewhere or was told in a drunken conversation. :g:

Only the east coast fairmount copies are vinyl .

West coast are styrene as are all hemisphere :(

Hemisphere styrene (pressed at Shelley) sounds great. West coast Fairmount (pressed at Monarch) sounds quieter and less dynamic. The Fairmount vinyl copies (striped labels) also sound pretty good. Don't discount the Hemisphere copy just 'cos it's styrene.

Yes,always loved it.Eddie Wainright gave it a spin at the last Empty Bottles...fitted it in well amongst the 100mph...and i had a boogie to it. :lol:
