Right, I've got a few classic oldies that (like a Roscoe & Friend ) are in a state only a mother could love or ( like a copy of The Present) have hairline cracks etc etc .......I listed the first one on ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rare-Northern-Soul-45-POSSE-EVIL-JANUS-DEMO-Wigan-Classic-ORIGINAL-/280933463174?pt=UK_Records&hash=item4168f07486 at a £ 4.50 start & was going to do the rest the same but then stopped incase I open a can of worms & cause myself a load of grief with people who can't read a description ....I'm also using my wifes account as I don't have one , so no I havent had the opperation !!!!

What do you lot think, have any of you gone down this path before ?

What you need to do Martyn is make sure every one has a SOUND CLIP then there can be no arguments about how the record plays.

Thanks mate, I'll have to ask my daughter how to do it - I'm sure she has the kit for her rave records she puts up. Have you had grief with this approach before ?

I've sold a few pieces that were cracked and played well

Put "CRACKED" the title.

and then before you send it say- You know this is cracked don't you?

Sound clip doesn't hurt either.

Never had a problem with that.

Maybe be a bit more explicit about Rufus Wood being a reissue too?
