sperol Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 Rare choons anybody? Free shipping to US; $6.00 elsewhere Paypal gift only please. Youtube clips are not of actual 45s. Thanks for your attn! - Spero Cautions "Watch Your Step / Is It Right" SHRINE - CLASSIC GROUP STUFF - vinyl is a strong VG+, plays great, original labels ----- note: the left third of the b-side label was torn off right before I purchased this. What remains on the record is peeling up along the edges. I still have the piece that tore off and the buyer can choose to keep it as is or reattach it with some type of acid free glue. a few minutes of work and the 45 would look close to new. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A4794clRIzU $500 Johnny Watson "I Say I Love You / You Better Love Me" KING ((((WLP)))) - HEAVILY SOUGHT AFTER POPCORN R&B - vinyl is NM, very light pen writing to labels https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnuQljXSwxY $500 The P.H.D.'s "It Swells My Desire / The Way It Used to Be" LAMP - MEGA RARE INDIANAPOLIS SWEET SOUL - vinyl is NM, but has a light storage warp NAP, ---- also: the labels are reversed and the 'desire' side has faint ghost markings of other labels on it, like as if someone stamped the label with other copies of the PHDs while the label ink was still wet or something. I think the very few copies of this that have ever sold all had these issues. $500 Sam Dees "Lonely for You Baby / I Need You Girl" SSS - HUGE BASS DRIVEN MOD NORTHERN - VG-, well used copy, visual marks and light crackle, music always dominates $275 The Limitations "I'm Lonely, I'm Troubled / My Baby" BACONE - GROUP NORTHERN KILLER - VG-/ G (flip), plays nice for grade, ballad side is pretty noisy however $275 The Trey J's "I Found It All in You / We Got a Thing" TEE GEM - SUPERB CROSSOVER NORTHERN - G+, ---- would rate this as a standard VG- (light marks, light crackle, music dominates) however there is one particularly nasty gouge about a minute in that causes some very noticeable ticks for a few rotations, never had it skip on any deck i've used $250 The Carletts "Lost Without Your Love / I'm Getting Tired" CAPITOL - CLASSIC GIRL TWO SIDER - VG, some faintly noticeable marks, minimal crackle if any, plays great overall $250 James Knight & the Butlers "There Goes My Baby / inst." CONCHO - RARELY SEEN FLORIDA NORTHERN - visual VG-, plays great for grade $225 Eli the Prophet "Take a Little Give a Lot / A Woman Is a Sometime Thing" ALA - AWESOME R&B FUNK GROOVER - visual VG, very light marks, plays clean $60 The Ambers "I Love You Baby / Now I'm In Trouble" VERVE - HEARTFELT NORTHERN SHOUTER / / FLOATER - visual G, lots of VG- looking marks plus some deeper looking scratches, Aside plays miraculously clean, Bside plays VG- $30
Only Dreaming Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 I'm not trying to be a smarta**e or anything, but if I were trying to sell these records I would have scans of the actual 45 for sale along with soundclips of each side. Best, Dave
sperol Posted July 30, 2012 Author Posted July 30, 2012 True, that always helps in any situation. I was just trying to keep things simple on my end, figuring interested parties would ask for clips and scans, which I can happily provide
