Godzilla Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 Richard played it as The Yvonne Baker Band - Don't Say a Word - the alleged instrumental to her biggie. I have a spare for sale.... (sorry, can't help myself)
Pete S Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 That label was responsible for some classic US Garage 45's was it not?
Godzilla Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 Yeah - Texas label I think and pretty sure there's a CD comp of garage/psych with an unreleased version of the vocal to Music Track or something like that.

Tiberius Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 That label was responsible for some classic US Garage 45's was it not? Mainly associated with The 13th Floor Elevators. There's a potted history of the label here - https://www.internationalartistsrecords.com/international_artists_records.html

(sorry, can't help myself) agree with that, must have still been covered up when mick derry was playing it at places like the wulfrun hall & locarno all-dayers, circa 77/78
Tiberius Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 Maybe not the best place to post this (admin- feel free to move) but imo one of the best on International Artists is Frankie Lee's "I Love The Go Go Girls". Not the same Frankie Lee of Peacock label fame.
