Hi As Both these titles came out as separate issues on Brunswick originally, I would say Re-Issue. Having said that, I don't know how many copies of the Re-issue are about. I suspect that it MAY be easier to find an original than a Re-Issue in this format?. Value?

I would assume the 1965 is there to indicate the year it was first published If I remember rightly I've seen re-issued british stuff before with original date on rather than the date re-issued

THINK THIS WAS A MINOR HIT OVER MOST OF EUROPE IN 65 SO RELEASED AT THE TIME.HAVE SEEN A GERMAN P/S FROM 65 ON DECCA I THINK.THE MCA LABEL WAS FORMED AROUND 67-68

January 7, 200619 yr 1-2-3 was also issued on UK MCA MU 1172 in 1972 backed with You baby.I would imagine this copy you have Ken is probably from the same date and an export copy because of the reversed matrix but worth little or nothing nevertheless.

Nothing wrong with Len Barry , Ken , very underrated IMO , he was a great blue eyed singer of the top drawer. I love "You baby" and rate it very highly. Apparently he was a great live stage act giving it all the acrobatics and that when live on stage.

January 7, 200619 yr cause of the copyright marks maybe intended for export for the following ? gema: germany biem : france ncb : scandinavia each prints its own pic cover up ?
January 10, 200619 yr Used to love this when it came out in late 65, top record at the time, always seemed to be played with Rescue Me, Ain't That Peculiar, Let's Hang On and Run Baby Run. Original b side Bullseye isn't too bad either I recall. Could I include this in my spot at Blue Skies on Friday, or would I be booed off the stage? I suppose it is too common for a Northern night.
January 10, 200619 yr Ken, The copy you have here (MU 1067) is a UK reissue from 1968, intended for sale within the UK. At the same time, MCA brought out a few other reissues, namely "Rock Around The Clock/Shake Rattle & Roll" by Bill Haley (which was the first of 2 reissues of the same track to chart here), and "Rave On/Peggy Sue" by Buddy Holly. As for a value on the Len Barry reissue, I would safely say around £3 at the most. Therefore, these are all retro reissues, in much the same vein as the "Demand Performance" series released by Decca, Deram and London around the same time. Gene Edited January 10, 200619 yr by Gene-R
