Mike B Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Regular evil bayers will know all about bid pay - part of Western Union specialising in money orders for ebay wins - as of 31st December they are no more -customer service only until end of February - for those people who want to bid on an auction that takes money orders only you'll need to find an alternative! Anyone know cost of money orders from high street banks etc? I have transferred money directly into a US bank account before for around a tenner - fine for the bigger money stuff not so good for a cheaper record... Mike B
Guest Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 I think it was about £25 last time I asked. I though f### it I'll send registered cash (it wasn't a vast amount)

Mike B hi Mike barclays bank charge an £8 fee for an international money order, but you have to have an account with them. far safer than sending large amounts of cash in the post, worth it for the peace of mind. best regards Timothy
