Guest Brian J Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 I've had it for a few months now, seen it several times and even lent it out to a couple of non-soulies to enlighten them a little at least, of the scene and it's cultural background. What I didn't do was give them the CD that accompanies it. I thought most of the tunes were dross and the drama, albeit interesting in it's own right, was so far removed from the scene itself, it would not have epresented a true impression. So yes, I would highly recommend it.
Guest rachel Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Yep and the documentary in Beatin Rhythm with Paul and Steve talking about their experiences...quite funny And of course Otis in his starring role
Guest Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 And of course Otis in his starring role Well...I don't like to talk about it...

Ady Croasdell Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 The licensing of the CD was dubious to say the least. We were going to do it with them at a very reasonable rate but they cut a lot of corners and I know some of them were never licensed.
