Platters 81 Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 A tune ive always liked (both versions)...the flip of both is good too....ive always thought them both to be NY prods...Richard Tee/George Kerr...didnt Tom Wilson produce Bob Dylans early stuff?...any idea which was the first......they both sound pretty contemporary with each other...also i dont know anything about either artist...i dont know of any other recordings by them....either would sound good at a venue i would imagine..not that i attend any these days....and neither are expensive.. 20/30
Roburt Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 Eddie Miller 45 came out around March 67, Jimmy Ballard about April 68 ..... ............... so Eddie's came 1st .. ... written by the Pointdexters ... so fits in with the Icemen thread (that ABC 45 escaping in Jan 68).
