Md Records Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 (edited) Covered up as "Maurice Simon & Pie Men" by Mr. Hennigan, this stormer could do with some reactivation. Only ever seen this on English "Doctor Bird" until I picked up this Jamaican Press - been looking for this for Years, so it's not easy. As is often the case on a lot of Jamaican Presses, sound quality is a bit quieter, so use the "gain" if playing out, but when you do - THIS IS SET TO GO!!!!! Price includes postage anywhere!!! Lloyd And Glen - What You Got - Wirl £150 SOLD Thanks for looking and listening Des Edited July 13, 2012 by SOUL.INC 2
Pete S Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Des you'll find that's actually better quality than the UK version as the Uk was dubbed from the jamaican. Jamaican first presses are nearly always better than UK ones.
Md Records Posted July 12, 2012 Author Posted July 12, 2012 Thanks Pete, wrongly always assumed that the British Presses were better quality Des
Pete S Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Thanks Pete, wrongly always assumed that the British Presses were better quality Des They often are, but I think they often wanted to rush them out so quickly that a copy of the record would be despatched and the tune dubbed off it, I've had mint ska records on which you can hear clicks from the original. Sometimes the producers came over with tapes but more often than not, dubbed off a disc.
