Guest Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 (edited) Please PM or email 'funkyserenity@googlemail' if interested. Paypal or bank transfer preferred . Quick payment supercedes any reservation. I tried to upload a photo but can't seem to : so email me and I'll send it to you that way PRICE : £125 Artist : Joanie Sommers with Don Ralke & his orchestra Title : Why don't you do right/Be my love Label : Warner bros 5177 Format : Picture sleeve with Vinyl 7" 45rpm Condition : Cover VG- some scuffing and fading as you'd expect from a 50 year plus aged picture sleeve Incredibly an auction for just the sleeve minus the record sold for $337 last year !!!!! I kid you not! Here's the link : https://www.popsike.c...0574311566.html Not quite sure what's going on there to be fair ? Obviously super rare Anyhow if you're like me its the vinyl you'll really want & Vinyl = Strong Ex : Incredible condition for a disc this old : plays perfectly both sides. A demo version with almost identical red Warner label recently sold for £150 : This with the picture sleeve makes it a highly desirable item which I feel I'm selling at a decent price To the track : Quite a few versions of 'Why don't you do right' and this has to be one of the best. Up there with Mark Murphy's interpretation but obviously a much rarer and not as widely known version. Judge for yourself : A great playout track LISTEN HERE : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8MWDcwC3_C0? Obviously this will be posted by Insured Special delivery post at the buyers expense. I have another very rare Hammond mod 45 rarity for sale 'The Organisers - The Organiser' on red label PYE it's listed here : Thanks for looking ! Edited July 11, 2012 by Guest
Denbo Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 I'd be interested if it was a British release. Anybody got a British copy for sale? If so, please PM me. Thanks. Sorry chickenbucket to high-jack your thread but at least it keeps your thread up near the top. ;-))
Pete S Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 (edited) I have a British copy of this Dennis, don't ask me what it's worth, I have no idea. It's Warner Bros WB 23. https://lostvinylgemsofthe60s.blogspot.co.uk/ Edited July 29, 2014 by Pete S
