He played drums with Litle Richard and on the Spector records before giving it up to become Branch secretary of the LA Musicians Union. Shane Hi,a book I read recently although not new is Too Darn Soulful........all about the scene in the earlier years,good pics and old soulies accounts of going to all-nighters etc
