Mike Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 be moving the current sounds section in gallery over to the improved sounds feature very soon so ask if uploading ought can you do it via the refosoul upload feature https://www.soul-source.co.uk/debaser/ when logged in the upload will show in the top menu bar and on the right side all sounds currently in gallery bit will be moved across along with detaisl etc etc reckon that since early days the quality of sounds on this site has been one of its strongest features with new format and the unique features its offer reckon this will continue
Chalky Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Looking good, in fact to say it's in it's early stages I don't think there's anything anywhere to match this. Will I'm sure prove to be an invaluable resource. Just attempted an upload, Frankie Saunders - Take Another Look. Think it's in the members place

Mike Posted January 3, 2006 Author Posted January 3, 2006 Any special filetypes needed ? Tried to upload mp3 and got MIMEerror Do need to put some words up but should take mp3s as that is what all testing been done on and so far yours is the first that know has failed Lars could you send it us via pm so could have a look at format thanks for letting us know mike
Chalky Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 The Frankie Saunders was an MP3pro. Jet Audio is superb for converting to this format from most formats. Better quality than Real Media
Guest miff Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Just done one and it worked for me, Crap recording please delete (Lovelites)
Mike Posted January 3, 2006 Author Posted January 3, 2006 Any special filetypes needed ? Tried to upload mp3 and got MIMEerror sorted! was a missing mime type one othe rthing is that for best results all mp3s should be encoded as below otherwise the flash doesnt play them right (if worked ok with gallery should be ok) heres tech stuff Please note that the Flash MP3 player won't work with MP3 files encoded at variable bitrate ("VBR"). You must use a fixed bitrate and a sample rate : 11KHz, 22KHz or 44KHz).
