This is a pretty good record. I've heard Butch play it out as well: at the moment I suppose it's safe to say that it's pretty hard to get, so well done.

Through his hugely popular Legendary Deep Funk (BBE) compilation series. And he is most popular soul/funk DJ. Keb Darge is recognized as the prime mover of the current funk renaissance. This program taped a DJing of KEB Darge gig in Tokyo in 5/7 for this radio show. Because a program is very long, it is divided into 3. Many many thanks Keb-chan!

Playlist 1. Elipsis / People (Briarmeade)

2. Timless Legend / I was born to love you (Dawn-Lite)

3. Florence Trap / Love came into my life (You & I records)

4. Mellow Madness / Save the youth (Mega)

5. Chosen Few Band / What it takes to live (Buffalos Reflection)

6. SPG / Loveland (Magick)

7. Mixed Feelings / Sha-La-La (United)

8. Henderson & Jones / I'm gonna get you (Quality Blend)

9. The Spade Brigade / I'm your man (Ace of Spades)

Here it is for anyone who hasn't got time to sit through the whole thing.

Prizes for anyone who knows what Keb is saying (I think it's in Japanese, but then I've never been able to understand him in English, either).

My guess: 'Get on the floor and DANCE, ya bastards-san!'

Thats only one third of Kebs absolutely brilliant radio playlist. If thats funk, give me James Troubles phone number now.

At one point, he says, 'that bladeforlife first played this at Clifton Hall'

And Dan-san, surely some Japanese grammatical errors ?
