Guest Dave Turner Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 (edited) Personally prefer Baby Washington's "Hurt So Bad" to Little Anthony's, but that's me. Flip to the Northern "Get A Hold of Yourself" -- UK United Artists (album only in the US) [media=] Edited June 28, 2012 by Dave Turner

MrsWoodsrules Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 Also while i'm at it, got to include Johnny Rodgers Make A Change, not sure if it qualifies as a BB, I guess it does, could be a bit uptempo, not sure. Aid.

Dave Harrison Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 Several versions of this tune, but this is my favourite. Jackie Wilson - Big man cry from the album Whispers Dave https://youtu.be/LSb63HqnblQ
MrsWoodsrules Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 Definately not a beat ballad. It is mid tempo at the least. Same as the Tropics. Yeah probably right Chalks, never sure of the definition of BB, suppose something like Roy Hamilton Panic Is On could be a good guide, great closer that one is. Good game this up to now, Spanish goal really sets it up. Aid.

Mattbolton Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Brad Lundy - I'm At The Breaking Point. Think it's got so much more soul than Deena Johnson's version.
Guest Dave Turner Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Best version IMO: Yes nice mate. To be honest this is one of those songs that I don't really have a distinct favourite. Can enjoy most cuts of it.
