CLAY BROWN-WHY DO YOU WANT TO CHANGE-FLORENTINE

Posted

Reach Out For Me - Roy Hamilton (I think this is the best version)

You don't need a Heart - Teddy Randazzo

Hurt so bad - Little Anthony and the Imperials.

Float my boat anyway.......

Personally prefer Baby Washington's "Hurt So Bad" to Little Anthony's, but that's me.

Flip to the Northern "Get A Hold of Yourself" -- UK United Artists (album only in the US)

Hadn't heard this version before, very nice. I love beat ballads, my favourite genre of our music, but so hard to pick a favourite.

Eddie Holman I'm not going to worry

Also while i'm at it, got to include Johnny Rodgers Make A Change, not sure if it qualifies as a BB, I guess it does, could be a bit uptempo, not sure.

Aid.

Definately not a beat ballad. It is mid tempo at the least. Same as the Tropics.

Yeah probably right Chalks, never sure of the definition of BB, suppose something like Roy Hamilton Panic Is On could be a good guide, great closer that one is.

Good game this up to now, Spanish goal really sets it up.

Aid.

Best version IMO:

Yes nice mate. To be honest this is one of those songs that I don't really have a distinct favourite. Can enjoy most cuts of it.
