I posted this in Soul Talk a couple of years ago...so if anyone hasnt seen it ...any additions /corrections welcome

NORTH BAY ( Camden NJ ....71-72)

Co -owned by legendary Camden businessman "Broadway Eddie" Warhoftig and Kenny Gamble...Eddie was a producer and promoter for PIR...coproducing MFSB 's version of K-Jee among others...I believe his record shop is still running in Camden...he died in 2003.

300 MELLOW MOODS "TELL LOVE HELLO" / "IF YOU SEE HIM"

301 TALK OF THE TOWN "LITTLE BIT OF YOUR LOVIN" / "TOSSING MY PRIDE ASIDE"

302 FAMILY "NATION TIME" /" FAMILY AFFAIR"

303 HONEY + THE BEES "JING JING A LING" / "AULD LANG SYNE"

304 FAMILY "DO THE ROBOT" / PART 2

305 TALK OF THE TOWN "DONT BE SO MEAN" / "ACCEPT ME FOR WHAT I AM"

306 SOUL DEVALENTS "GRASSHOPPER" /"THIS IS OUR THING"

307 VIBRATIONS "WHEN WILL MY TURN COME" / "SNEAKIN"

308 LITTLE DOOLEY "IT'S GOT TO BE NOW OR NEVER" / "MEMORIES"

309 EXECUTIVE SUITE "I'M A WINNER NOW" /" YOU GOT THE KIND OF LOVE"

310 LOUISE WILLIAMS "DONT BLAME THE CHILDREN" / SAME

311 LOVE BROTHERS "GIDDY UP" / "BOP DE DO WAW"

also NB1002 LP ...LOUISE WILLIAMS with ISAAC DOUGLAS + N.Y. COMM CHOIR "DONT BLAME THE CHILDREN"

1) EXECUTIVE SUITE CONTAINED PREVIOUS MEMBERS OF THE MILLIONAIRES ON CASTLE..."IAWN" WAS RELEASED NATIONALLY ON BABYLON IN 73.

2) MCFADDEN + WHITEHEAD BEING TALK OF THE TOWN IS PRETTY WELL KNOWN AS IS LITTLE DOOLEY BEING DOOLEY SILVERSPOON.

Much Philly talent on show on this label...I would guess the biggest hit was Family Affair...my personal favs are the Little Dooley double sider...the Sweet Soul Vibrations side....and the cute Christmas record by Honey and the Bees.

Has anyone got the Louise Williams 45?

When we were discussing her career (as Lois Lane) Ady C mentioned this one. Got just about everything on the label, but not Louise Williams release.....:g:

Both Talk Of The Town 45's and The Vibrations are great tracks.

Have and love Mellow Moods, Little Dooley and Vibrations, anything else on the label in the same league as those 3

yes, the gamble press is the same recording but a second label.

the title I've seen most on this label is the mellow moods (great female sweet soul)

OK, I did a full US discography of all 12 Mighty Three labels from the outset in '65 up to 2011 for the PIR 40th Anniversary box set, including North Bay. Surprisingly Gamble & Huff didn't have their own label's discography! The 45s are all relatively easy to obtain. The Gordon Lowe LP is folk & usually goes for about $70-$100. The Louise Williams LP is rocking horse doo dah rare, and I can honestly say I've only ever seen the one copy (mine). It was however, released again in 1977 on the Phil. LA of Soul label.

Anyway, this is the complete NB listing;
