Szymanski, who obtained his B.A at C.W Post College while successfully operating Omega Sound Studios in Rockville Centre, LI has been named president of the new firm. First group signed to SandBag is The Epitome of Sound, a self contained quintet, who as the Megatons formerly recorded under the Laurie banner. First release by the group "You don't love me" is scheduled for June 1st. The Epitome of Sound is currently appearing at the Mustang Lounge in New Jersey and will be there through June. In additional moves John Meyers has been named v.p. in charge of sales and marketing and Sam Goldner's Antigua Distributors has been appointed to handle the line nationally. Firm will headquarter at 275, Madison Avenue, New York. 1
