Managed to get this a few months ago. "It ain't like it used to be / I'm on sick leave" original label before IX Chains. Does anyone know anything about the label (apart that it was from Memphis etc.). How it got leased to IX Chains etc?

I vaguely remember something else on the label but I'm not sure. But that's not the only record that got released locally before ix chains -- the grand jury and crystal image were both on local labels first.

All I know is that the other two tunes that Randolph Brown released on IX CHAINS also got a release on the BLACK MAGIC label:

Steve: is your 45 BLACK MAGIC 002?

Randolph Brown & Company - It Ain't Like It Used To Be / You Can Be Cured - IX CHAINS 7012

Randolph Brown & Company - I'm On A Sick Leave / Take A Few More Steps - IX CHAINS 7015

Randolph Brown & Company - Take A Few More Steps / You Can Be Cured - BLACK MAGIC 001
