Roburt Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 Barbara got 'preferential treatment' at Arctic from Jimmy Bishop .... .... even though he was a married man !!!
Jhsoulnotts Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 mmm, and some nice cheap stuff too "Keep Him" on 105 flip
Guest trickbag Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 ¯»¿¯»¿¯»¿¯»¿¯»¿¯»¿¯»¿stormin northern from Barbara, with terry blowing his head off and covered by the rotations. ricky.
Scotters Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 I quite like this one that Barbara did with The Futures (nice pic sleeve too!)...MAKE IT LAST Also still like hearing AINT GOT NOBODY amongst others (finger clickin' good!)
Mal C Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Got a nice German Picture sleeve on Buddah of 'give me your Love' the Mayfield song, and flips really good as well think its 'You can be with the one you don't love'. Think her Buddah material gets a bit overlooked compared with the Artic releases. Mal 1 1

Sebastian Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 I really like her "If You Knew Him Like I Do" on the NATIONAL GENERAL label: 1
Theothertosspot Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Got a demo of above, only ever seen one other issue, Steve Johnstone had it. Regards
Kev Cane Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Cheapie on Arctic, as good as anything she,s done IMHO, "Half A Love" Kev
Guest Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 Super tough/expensive on Japanese London...'Keep Him' is such a tidy dance track 1
Guest Polyvelts Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 'Another man'. A bit of an 80s club number I remember dancing to many a time - but unusual in dealing with gay /straight crossover relationships. Great lyric "another man is beating my time, another man is loving mine" got a uk streetwave release.
