Anyone go to Graham Warr's monthly friday event at Chaplin's Night Club in Birmingham. When he played all the new soul imports!

I do.

I would then go to his stall at the Oasis in Dale End, Birmingham next day & buy some of the tunes I heard then play them at the Toll House in Stratford Upon Avon, Marine Ballroom , Evesham & The Jubilee. Studley.

Hi Vince;

Yes I used to be a regular at Chaplins and went to his stall in the Oasis market every Friday afternoon and then again on the Saturday to collect my tunes, bought some wonderful tunes there as new releases, many of which are biggies today with a price to match, then there was Steve Glover downstairs for the more Northern orientated tuneage, brilliant times.

I worked in Oasis loved Chaplins and the Rum Runner night clubs, be great to go somewhere meet up with long lost jazz soul dancers at a reunion, they were such great day’s, all that mattered was the music, and the social interaction
