Sebastian Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 (edited) ---- ---- Don't really know where to put this topic... so bear with me. I just recieved a package from a "Sara Sanchez" in Murcia, Spain. A cruciform "US style" 45 mailer and it was sent registered but when I opened it there was nothing inside. Does anyone of you know who this person is and have contact details? Thanks in advance. Sebastian Posted June 20, 2012 Author Posted June 20, 2012 Thanks for getting back to me. It's very weird recieving a package without a record in it sent registered. Hope you'll be able to set things right.

Sebastian Posted June 20, 2012 Author Posted June 20, 2012 Its not the professionals on clear vinyl is it. Have you had a similar experience with the seller soulgirl85? The record I was supposed to recieve is Bobby Dobyne's "Soulful Sound Of Music" on CROWN LTD. Here is the sales thread: The seller says that the record was sent out in the package that was sent registered, I sent the payment as gift, so I guess I'm f**ked. STUPID STUPID ME! this is the second time i've sent as "gift" to a seller on here and it has backfired on me, will NEVER do it again. Oldest trick in the book I guess, sending a package registered without a record in it. And I can't do a thing. AAAARRRRGGGGGG! This week is really shaping up to be a good one...
Soulgirl85 Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 (edited) Ok , for a start you sent me this message saying you hadnt recieved the 45 ..... Hi! I ordered this 45 from you a while ago and payed on the 7th of June: Bobby dobyne & Barefacts - Hold on im coming / soulful sound of music - Crown ltd - 60 ukp Have you sent it out yet? I haven't recieved anything. Thanks in advance. /Sebastian AND THEN YOU SEND 5 MINS LATER Hi again. By the way, are you located in Murcia, Spain? I did recieve a package sent insured from a "Sara Sanchez" a couple of days ago which came from Murcia. The package was however EMPTY. It just had two cardboard stiffeners, but no record. I hope this wasn't from you. More info here: Take care! /Sebastian So you say you didnt get it yet , and then you say you did but with no 45 ! which is very strange as i told you via pm that i pack very carefully all 45s and make sure the 45 , the address , and the name and postcode etc are perfetct before sending . I have sent you a photo of the registered ticket which i have attatched here If you want to discuss a problem then you should ask me first , not open a topic in a live forum ! all of my customers receive their 45s on time they recieve exactly what i post up in the forum , so like i suggested before is that you contact your postal service straight away ... Thanks Edited June 20, 2012 by soulgirl85
Dave Fleming Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Seb i hope you get this sorted out,as my mate delivers my mail any records that need to be signed for or dodgy packaging i get him to watch me open them in front of him as a witness just in case someone try`s to pull a fast one like this.. Dave f....
Sebastian Posted June 20, 2012 Author Posted June 20, 2012 The package was indeed packed very well. A nice US style cruciform mailer with two stiffeners. It was sent registered and I have collected it. No argument there. BUT THERE WAS NO RECORD INSIDE THE PACKAGE! The package had not been opened by anyone else but me. The two stiffeners that you had used were still taped together when I opened the package. The address sticker on the package was taped ON TOP of the brown tape that sealed the package. So it can't have been opened by anyone on the way to me. I do realize that this will probably be going nowhere and I'm f**cked, but this is out of order, and I had to write somewhere about it. Perhaps you made a mistake, I don't know, but please have a look around your flat/house to see if you might have forgotten to put it in the package before mailing it to me.
Sebastian Posted June 20, 2012 Author Posted June 20, 2012 (edited) As far as the registration info / sheet goes... if you read in the picture it say that the package weighs 97 grams. A question to frequent sellers on here: how often do you manage to pack a 45 in a US style cruciform mailer along with two stiffeners and still get it to under 100 grams? It's always 150-ish grams or more when I do that. Strange... I have sent you a photo of the registered ticket which i have attatched here Edited June 20, 2012 by Sebastian
Soulgirl85 Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Hi , i have a double of this 45 in exactly the same condition ! obviously im not happy about the situation because the 45 was sent as i explained before , ill send you the only copy i have out tomorrow ( which is my play copy ) ... i still cant understand it , but if you would have contacted me first via pm and asked then i would have told you that i will send you a spare or refund you your money ! i think a mountain has been created out of a molehill for no reason , anyone that has dealt with me on here will know that i am a good seller and send a grade well..... thanks

Sebastian Posted June 20, 2012 Author Posted June 20, 2012 Was asked a moment ago by soulgirl85 to close this topic. I will do that and re-open it when I have recieved the 45 to tell you about it. If any further problems arises I'll let you all know about it here.
Sebastian Posted June 26, 2012 Author Posted June 26, 2012 Today I recieved the Bobby Dobyne 45 from soulgirl85 / Sara Sanchez / Mandy. It has got wear at the EXACT same spots as in the pictures that were used in the sales thread which I ordered the 45 from: The record is nowhere near the "EX-" grade, but I'm glad that I finally recieved the record. 1
