Still pricing up, or trying to price up, the records in this collection I'm selling...found this copy of Bunny Sigler - Girl don't make me wait. As you can see, it's a completely different label design to the usual one and is a west coast pressing, on styrene. I was thinking about this and I can't remember seeing one like this, apart from this one. John Manships price guide only quotes for the west coast DJ not issue. Any ideas?

I have the DEMO (DJ Copy) which is exactally the same design as your Label scan. I have recently seen another for sale on ebay with this Label design which was also a DEMO (DJ Copy)

I don't know if a White DEMO exists, either design.

I can't recall seeing a Stock copy with this design, my Stock copy is the other design of which I have seen quite a few for sale.

Cheeky! Delta number 64457 so no bootleg

Pete

I have had a look at my DEMO of Girl Don't Make Me Wait but it is on is on vinyl so delving further I have found a couple of Monarch Parkways which may help.

I have these two STYRENE COPIES - Both are Monarch Delta #

PARKWAY P-949-B - "(Do The) DISCOTHEQUE" CHUBBY CHECKER - Delta 56427X

PARKWAY P-153 -A - LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL - BUNNY SIGLER - Delta 66730 - This copy also has FRANKFORD/WAYNE Matrix

I would say that your Delta Number Looks Good & Spot On as the Delta Numbers Sequence Goes.

It certainly looks good to me.

I hope this helps.

I have WD on styrene, but the delta number is 64497. There's also P123A scratched in the run out and a very faint 'bell sound' stamp. Other side has delta 64497-x. Both side have the MR stamp.

£40-£60 for an issue?

Thanks for confirming existance of white DEMO -

My Cu ma le be-stay/Everythings Wrong - Chubby Checker is a white DEMO same design.

I believe that this is the West Coast Label -

My Parkway P-123 DEMO also West Coast (I Think) but coloured Label.

(Different pressing plants used, as is the case with most U.S.A. records).

It leads me to wonder if anyone has a White DEMO/Coloured DEMO of the East Coast Design for Parkway P-123 as most stock copies that I have seen appear to be the East Coast Design.

I recently bid for a copy of Looking At Tomorrow - Chubby Checker which was the West Coast design White Label DEMO.

I failed on that occasion, found another copy for sale a couple of months later which I bought, when it arrived it was the East Coast Design White Label Demo. Not a problem as I had been after a copy of this record for years.
