But what a piece of history, the first (I think) record ever put out by Berry & Smokey cat number G1 (probably for Gordy I'd say) in 1959. Manship has this down as about £400 in one of my guides, that'll be for a minter, not trashed like this & mine was. Wonder if Leonard Chess was personally involved in that? You cant keep a good man down for long though, I bet Berry never forgot about that. Aid.
