Soul-slider
It's actually 'The Blues Busters', Byron Lee & Dragonaires supplied the rhythm. ...unless of course there is an instrumental version Jimmy? Link to comment Social source share
Guest TONY ROUNCE
But which version do you want? As well as the Blues Busters version there's another slightly faster cut by Keith and Ken, released around the same time as the BBs, which also has instrumental accompaniment from Byron Lee and the Dragonaires! Bra is the US label by the way - original Jamaican label (for the Blues Busters, at least) is Kentone. Link to comment Social source share
Pete S
Ignore, found it on UK Island Sorry don't mean to hijack this but while we're on Jamaican soul - anyone (Tony) know Llans Thelwell - Lonely Night? I thought he was an instrumentalist so I don't know who the voclaist is. Edited June 5, 2012 by Pete S Link to comment Social source share

Guest jimmysoulful
ok Byron Lee Dragonaires plus BluesBuster vocals : the slower version ( and better IMHO) i wrote on bra label as i assume is cheaper than the Ja press. Link to comment Social source share
