Billy Freemantle Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 This I belive was the B side to 'Stand by Me'. Ok, it borders on melodrama like a lotof other records of the period. But as a work of popular art it must come close to perfection.

Soulsmith Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 Are you on the right speed... ,great record... Quality reply Ken. I dunno about this record at all. Sounds like a track from an old movie. I have visions of John Wayne riding off into the sunset to meet the Spanish Armada.

Fantastic record , though my own personal faves would be either " Forgive this fool " , " Tears ,Tears ,Tears " or " She's gone again " , what a brilliantly consistent artist .Best ,Eddie

Simsy Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 Is it on the right speed? Waited for it to get going ... and it never did. Don't get me wrong rich vocal quality as good as ever. Big Ben E fan etc, but his greatest ever recocord ...? Er, no.

Should never have subjected us young kids (then)to that ! But just to make sure you did watch it they came up with that title music which hynotized you and drew you in! Anyone got a copy?
