Guest Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 According to popsych one went for £103 on ebay feb 2005! But got to admit you dont see it too often probably cause no one tires of it Mines a charlie uk release you never see that one about either? it plays brilliantly as most uks allways do (why is that?) By the way January sales ALLWAYS start in December (why is that?) dunno, but its a fact!
Guest Johnny Mack Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 What price does Jerry Cook " I Hurt On The Other Side " Capitol green demo go for these days guys. Andy Shifty had one listed for GBP 100 not too long ago. I paid just less than $200 for one on E-Bay about a year ago. Have never been sure about the issues being genuine - the demo is a surer all round bet ! Certainly doesnt turn up in quantity and I guess its a matter of what folks are prepared to pay at the time. Take care, John
45cellar Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 What price does Jerry Cook " I Hurt On The Other Side " Capitol green demo go for these days guys. Andy Andy This is in my opinion extremely rare. Genuine stock copies are also rare. Don't forget that the stock copy was counterfeited in the seventies on Authentic Capitol Blank Labels. (The runout tells all, "daisy stamp" on original copies) I bought the DEMO in the 1970's, I haven't seen many for sale since DEMO or Stock. . I haven't got the Genuine stock copy only the counterfeit. JM's Price guide has the Genuine stock copy at £125, the DEMO at £150. Roger
Guest Perry Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 I bought the one off Shifty for £100, it was a mint demo and I thought very reasonably priced Andy This is in my opinion extremely rare. Guest 50box Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Mines a charlie uk release you never see that one about either? it plays brilliantly as most uks allways do (why is that?) Is it not Sid Barnes? It`s him on the Charly album.
45cellar Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Andy A sound investment in my opinion. Always remember, with Capitol Records to look for the "Daisy Stamp" faintly stamped in the Deadwax or the Capitol Triangle with numbers in. Roger
Guest Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Is it not Sid Barnes? It`s him on the Charly album. Yes youre spot on there it is of course Sid Barnes on the charlie Getting confused in my old age, Thanks for proping me up But still you dont see that one tw2 often either Great Track!
