The IPOD of the 60-70s

This is a picture of mine i still have it (below) I theres only a few here who remembers or them or had one besides me. This one was used in a c reg cortina mk one in Phoenix Street opp the Torch regulaly in 1972-73 , I bought it from Wolverhampton Co Op just up from the Station in about 1970!! Does any else still have one, id love to know?? Nige B

I had one, loads had them. You can still buy moulded plastic ones but can`t see many putting precious vinyl in one these days. Also your curtains are horrible Nige.

Wife bought me one about 3 years ago at a market. It was moulded plastic & bright yellow. Just played 45`s, did nothing else. Can`t find them on the net, think it was German. Sad thing is it dropped & the inside came to bits. I`ll try to find it but might be slung.

Someone else must have seen these ???

I still have mine somewhere, remember taking it on bus trips up to Blackpool early 70's, with a box of 45's.

They turn up for auction on ebay uk, I collect vintage audio, mainly Hacker's so I am always scouring the record player pages.

Now she tells me it might have been a boot sale. What confused me is it was brand new in box.

Wish I hadn`t dropped it now.
