The Yank Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 If you go on www.45-sleeves.com, they have the yellow Brunswick label in use from #55167- #55250 ( 1960-1963). The Black Brunswick label started in 1963 with #55251. I see a lot more Orange Brunswicks than yellow ones, I also thought your yellow label was a promo.
kevinsoulman Posted May 13, 2012 Author Posted May 13, 2012 HERE ARE THE TWO TOGETHER NO SIGN OF DEMO MARKINGS ON THE YELLOW ONE KEV
kevinsoulman Posted June 2, 2012 Author Posted June 2, 2012 ANY MORE INFO GUYS STILL NO DEFINITE ANSWER ON THESE THANKS KEV
Sean Hampsey Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 NO NOT A DEMO DAVE THE YELLOW ONE HAS MERRIMAC MUSIC CORP (BMI) ON IT WHEREAS THE ORANGE ONE DOES NOT THE RUN OUT HAS 45 112705 3 ON THE YELLOW ONE & 45 112705 6 ON THE ORANGE. THEN OPPOSITE THOSE NUMBERS THE YELLOW HAS A 1, THE ORANGE HAS 2 WONDERING IF YELLOW IS 1ST PRESS ORANGE 2ND KEV Despite the 3 and 6 on the matrix, I'd have thought the Orange was first and Yellow second. The Typesetting on the yellow is as used on later issues, and typical of a product remaining on catalogue for a while after first issue. Sean 1
Soul Shrews Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Sorry to go slightly off topic here (as I dont think this particular 45 has one) but can someone tell me where the light blue label demos fit in? Cheers Paul
