Benji Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 that bidding history looks a bit fishy. winning bidder only 2 positives, 2nd bidder feedback private. third one placed 'only' $780.

Dave Thorley Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 or a scam. Bid it up to a stupid price, then someone sees it at this price and thinks bargin
NEV Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 https://cgi.ebay.com/...cvip=true&rt=nc Searching for love ? A cover version ? Simon I took the liberty to contact the seller to find out what really happened with the previous sale..here's his account :- "Two people played games with the bidding when it was last auctioned, drove up the price, and then preteneded that they bid in error, thus refusing to honor their bids. One guy is in France and has (2) feedback and bid $5,000. When I contacted the second highest bidder to ask him what he would realistically pay for the item - he bid $1,300 and then $4,800 - he said he was just caught up in the movement and that I should try the guy who bid $777. I have no idea why these guys trashed my auction, and one has been reported to EBAY for harrassment. I have bbeen on Ebay since 1998 with another account called WAXPAPER, and have never recieved a negative feedback in over 5,000 transactions" The seller was very concerned and wanted to re-assure genuine buyer's of soul records ,that he is in no way party to shill bidding etc etc .
boba Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 yeah, not as bad as the reggae dude but there are some french / algerian kids who mess with some modern auctions. usually boogie specific though.
