Kenny Burrell did have one Mark dunno who it went to though if/ when he was selling tunes.

Guess that would have come from Shifty when he sold up all his big big tunes (Mello Souls etc).

That answers the question, who got the ones that went through ebay then. Fred Krol and John Parker. Just one we don't know about, unless Richard Lewis had the other?

incidentally, a nice little aside to this.....mr. pugh is a great admirer of this tune and according to the tale, butch told him if he ever sold it, john would get first preference....i think ive got more chance of collecting my bus pass :lol:

A record I've always associated with Carl Fortnum. Regular play for him at the Capital soul club, also remember him playing it at the Ritz in Manchester, it sounded real good at the Ritz. This was before Kenny B had one when it was still a couple of known copies.
