Well that's a bit of a lie really as I still feel as if I've done 15 rounds with Ali.This was my 12th Cleethorpes Weekender & they take longer & longer to get over each year...........the thing is I'll be doing it all again this weekend at Brid.So not caught up with the posts since I've been away (not been able to stay awake long enough yet) but I will. It has quite a 'Tyrone Davis' feel to it even though it came out (mid 70's ?) after Tyrone's golden period. Eddie must have been about on the Miami soul scene for some years (about 10 to 12 at least) as I have info on him performing back in the mid 60's. Also have a club ad from 1968 when he played the Continental Club (the place where Sam & Dave had first performed together back in 1960) in conjunction with local Sharon Robinson and Detroit's the Professionals .... ...
