Roburt Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 (edited) One for the 70's Philly fans ......... Major Harris "Ruby Lee" ......... I believe this is LP only .......... .... EXCEPT in BRAZIL ........ where it was released on a 4 track (33rpm) EP. ... HOW DO I KNOW ....... COZ I got a copy of the EP of course !!!! Mind you, if anyone knows of any other places where it escaped on 7", I'd be pleased to know about it. A remix of the track appears on the CD 'Philly Re-Grooved - The Tom Moulton Philly Groove Remixes'. Edited May 5, 2012 by Roburt 1

Dave Moore Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 (edited) Sorry for my absence over past 3 weeks: Real World soul project took priority. This morning's offering: I collect Mary Wells records and still haven't located a nice clean demo of this 20th Century outing. Posted this just as much for the video as the song though. Great footage and a clip that shows just how important her Motown roots were to her success as they tried to recreate not only the sound but the 'ambience' as well.
