Simon T Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 (edited) Shrine records were called Shrine by Eddie Singleton as a tribute to President Kennedy and the emblem is the Eternal Flame on Kennedy’s shrine. Shrine’s publishing company was Ramitary and was formed by Eddie and his wife Raynoma; Eddie was born Eddie Singletary Raynoma or ‘Miss Ray’ learnt her record producing skills at Motown being Berry Gordy’s second wife. Berry Gordy wanted to have a record label called Tammy named after a favourite film (star) of his, but as the name was copyrighted he plumped for Tamla instead Pictures: Eddie Singletary Berry & Raynoma Gordy Very common Shrine release Edited December 16, 2005 by Simon T

Guest ShaneH Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 Romulus: i remember chatting to Trevski from York and he was wondering if there was a Remus label as well. not sure if anyone has any knowledge on this? For those of you who didnt attend history lessons at school , Romulus & Remus were twins who were brought up by a wolf and later built the city of Rome. Well legend has it anyway I have added an educational link below regarding the said twins Shane https://www.historylearningsite.co.uk/romulus_and_remus.htm
