it seemes the recession has hit us and we are to lose our venue...we didnt even realise but its owned by a very large brewery chain with even larger debts and they are going to sell the building probably not as a pub/venue...

its not the end of go go children and we are in talks with a few venues its just deciding which way to go...

its kinda strange really after two years at our first venue the aces bar, the owners sold it and its almost 2 years exactly since weve been at the spring garden...that was a good move taking our atten dances up from an average of 70 to 100+...hopefully this move will take us up again...

things will be different but hopefully even better... checkout the events section for the last nite for a while on the first saturday in may with guest andy hutchins

worthwhile event news as stated in the post such as closures etc especially of ones that have been featured on here is welcome and we are more than happy to help members pass on the word but it does need to be submitted as per the link above
