Dean
Not sure if this is a curiosity or common. Just picked up for collection a S35025 issue that is same on both sides, Velvelettes -These Things Will Keep Me Loving You. I have an issue with Since You've Been Loving Me as flip. This same-both-sides issue is EXACTLY the same label face as the standard issue A side, same matrix, stamped, label design. There are no prom markings, nothing to differentiate it from standard issue apart from same label and same track both sides. The new aquisition has same label stamp and scratch number both sides, the standard issue has different stamp and scratch number on either side. I've got the swirl design DJ copy, same label and song both sides, that has a different stamp. Seems to me to be a curiosity. Why a single song issue with no promo marks? Are these common? Tony A
Dunno how common, but I have an issue exactly the same, these things both sides. Link to comment Social source share
kevinsoulman
seem to see a few of these on the motown group of labels , someone on here will possibly know why kev Link to comment Social source share
45cellar
Think they were some kind of promotional press. Not that easy to find. I have a few, Including one on Red Vinyl. I have seen the FRANCES NERO once before, "TAKE SOME TIME OUT FOR LOVE T-54133", "SHAKE AND PINGERPOP" Think there's also "I'LL ALWAYS LOVE YOU" - THE SPINNERS. 1 Link to comment Social source share
Guest allnightandy
Why are there three different styles of SOUL labels ? You show the promo of "These things will keep me loving you " on the little square soul label , there is also one on Popsyke with s o u l across the top , while i have the one that has s o u l down the left hand side incidentally one promo sold on JM's soul auction about four years ago for £215 Link to comment Social source share

Dean
Going off my own topic here BUT I'll be keeping an eye for the double sided Roadrunner (Roger's post). Been picking up different euro issues, liking the collector thought have having every issue, wonder how many worldwide. Link to comment Social source share
