Only Dreaming Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 Hi folks. I need your help in identifying the singers of the following songs : The first song is titled "luv luv luv " and goes 'I thought I was losing you girl, from the very beginning, but like love in every story book, we're gonna have a happy ending. The second one is called "its not easy " and it's a beat ballad. It goes : Hey girl what can I do with you, when you take this old hart and break it in two, I'm an easy going man who'll take all that he can, Thanks in advance for putting me out of my misery? Dave
boba Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 what time frame (early 60s, late 60s, early 70s, etc.)?
Only Dreaming Posted April 9, 2012 Author Posted April 9, 2012 Hi Boba. The first one is late 60's early 70's mid tempo and the second one is a 60's ballad. Cheers, Dave
Shinehead Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 Its Not Easy is a oft recorded song written by Cynthia Wiel and Barry Mann.
Guest Matt Male Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 (edited) luv luv luv is Lloyd Price on JAD, it's the flip of Take All Edited April 9, 2012 by Matt Male
Garethx Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 As Shinehead says "It's Not Easy" is a Mann/Weil song with maybe the most obviously soulful reading being Malcolm Hayes on Liberty. I have a bit of a soft spot for the folk rock version by The Will-O-Bees on Date.
Only Dreaming Posted April 9, 2012 Author Posted April 9, 2012 Thanks Guys. The artists were Lloyd Price and Malcolm Hayes. Thanks to everyone for taking the time to jog my memory. Gareth, I'll check out the Will-O-Bees version. Best, Dave
