Just got this from Des Parker and have to say it's one hell of a record to be hidden away in the vaults, a fabulous track deserves to be massive!

Any thoughts on this?

I'm glad this is being recieved well - it was legally pressed up by Mark Anderson (Hold Tight) in association with Millie herself, for a very limited run - Millie is still performing (though in more of a blues style), and absolutely bowled over that one of her old tracks is getting attention.

I found the acetate, Mark contacted Millie and pressed up 200 (half to be given away at one of his soul nights) . The other 100 have been slowly sold to collectors over the last few years - so there's not too many about.

Glad people like the track, as Des says Millie is still singing although it is back to her roots of delta blues these days. There is a fantastic link back into the soul scence and the funk scene and if I get time I will dig out all the emails and letters and piece it together in a coherent story, along with the publicity shots she kindly sent over for me.

Great lady and a real under the radar performer. Des is also correct in the number of records that were given out at the souls night locally to me, knowing the attendees as I do, most of them are probably languising in cupboards hidden away for eternity.

Mark.
