Winnie :-) Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 So what's your favourite dance floor, I realise it's only personal opinion. I've purposely not asked for the least favourite as that could be a bit contentious In no particular order Stoke Aqua (do they still have soul nights there) Rugby (both rooms) Willington Goodyears Brighouse Ritz That'll do for a start, any others worth a mention? 1

Jumpinjoan Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 As far as nighters go Wilton is good, as is Lifeline and Derby Assembly Rooms (especially the second room). Soul night wise Burscough is great!
Tomangoes Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 Sheff city hall was great on the main floor. Ed
Winnie :-) Posted March 30, 2012 Author Posted March 30, 2012 Sheff city hall was great on the main floor. Ed Is that the one Wicksy used to promote, complete with disco floor with lights in the middle?
Stevie T Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 sheridans middleton ( r & b ) room pow wow sheffield wilton rampant lion ( no way out) Sheff city hall Riley hall Beat bespoque ( r & B room ) worse floor 100 club

I liked the little floor in the other room and actually don't mind the 100 club dance floor either 1
Citizen P Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 Sure Steve'll find the picture, but Heywood takes some beating... Tony 1

nightfiler Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 Definately "The Wilton" for me, even though i tripped on some talc the first time i ever walked across it many years ago. (You really did'nt need talc) Broke my wrist....where was all the "Where there's blame there's a claim" people back then eh? Also agree with Tony P (for once) Heywood Civic! and with Joan Burscough Legion. 1
Scotters Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 but thats what i like ...ice rink every time I went to Bridlington for first time last year and nearly slipped flat on my ar$e as soon as I stepped onto the floor in the main room . Was a great floor though once I got my Bambi balance back 1

Popular Post Cunnie Posted March 31, 2012 Popular Post Posted March 31, 2012 No brainer really. Bridlington Spa. Almost brand new, air conditioned (note the grills around the side), seen the roof? Also in a stonking venue right on the East coast seafront. Might be seen as a little biased as am involved with the venue in a small way but it really is a stunning dancefloor. 4
