Wildly emotional delivery of on both sides of this delicious Detroit Double helping of real-deal 60s soul. Top side has been a Northern Soul classic for decades, remained annoying elusive throughout. Today it's the flipside that is causing equal interest; a mid-paced Northern Soul stroller dripping with pain, slightly lifted when the soaring girl-chorus comes in fusing everything together. This disc really is a special not only n rarity but also the top-drawer quality both sides bubble over with. This copy has some ligt surface marks, but plays loud and clear as you will hear from the double-sound-file lifted directly off this disc. Sorry, this item has already been won! Carolina's 60s Soul is rarely this gritty or this compelling. As Frankie gets down and dirty, clawing his way through this haunting recording. The flipside however provides the listener with stereotypical mid-60s sound of Raleigh, North Carolina; a really nice example, but pales completely to the inventiveness of the thoroughly memorable a-side.
