Tabs Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 A fellow "Don't pity me" hater. Load of tripe imho. But the dancefloor dictates otherwise.

Tabs Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 You are correct Pete. Its only opinions. No one is right or wrong. The funny thing is I slated this record last night at the Ronnie McNeir event when it was played. But I was certainly outnumbered by the people who loved it. The funny thing is I slated this record last night at the Ronnie McNeir event when it was played. But I was certainly outnumbered by the people who loved it. Some records you love from the first time you hear them - as it was for me with Joanie. There must be something in certain records that you either love or hate, like a lot of people hate the Joe Jama record but can't say exactly why. Now it's common knowledge that I don't like the Carstairs record, but thats because, in my opinion, the lead singer is shouting and out of tune. I can maybe understand some people not liking the vocals on the Joanie record but the backing track is phenomenal, wish I had an inst of it. 1

Tabs Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 How can I be wrong when I'm always right. Trust you and the family are good bud? I can do a good deal on Easter Eggs for the kids. ...And that's where you are wrong my friend... All the best, Len. 1
Pete S Posted March 23, 2012 Author Posted March 23, 2012 All the records on this pod(even Joannie) would go hand in hand with a mixed bag Meaning?
Pete S Posted March 23, 2012 Author Posted March 23, 2012 too early for you Pete? No, up at 7.20 this morning
Guest MrC Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 Well, I love it! And just about all of it too! There's maybe 1, or 2 things at the most that I'd replace if pushed, but it is exactly what Pete says it is in the description, can't argue with that. Another nice one mate

Not the 'played out oldies' bit!
