Jez Jones Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Joe Hicks--Dont it make you feel Funky ..Just wondered --have got a copy with a background hiss--that is very noticeable. Is this a known 'fault' with the pressing. Have any other members come across this..I cant remember noticing it bitd....bad batch from the pressing plant?? The copy I've got is the Vinyl one and not the Styrene copy
Quinvy Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 No, I've had both releases and they have all played perfectly. Try playing the other side, if that plays perfect then someone has played the "Funky" side with a bad stylus, or it's been hammered.
Guest allnightandy Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Most Joe Hicks are boots ! the 001 original one that i have is vinyl with black writing and is as shiny as a mirror plays perfectly clear sorry no nothing about the styrene press Manship states "Second issue is styrene with stick on label with delta #100117" Andy
Guest Perception Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 sorry no nothing about the styrene press Manship states "Second issue is styrene with stick on label with delta #100117" The styrene copies are the boots/pressings, and the vinyl copies are originals.
Chalky Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 I used to have a vinyl original years ago, played fine.
Guest allnightandy Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 Do all the originals have black writing ?
Guest Andy Kempster Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Yep. Boots have silver....there are also 2 different flips
