Kjw
Nate Evans & Buss - £150 Nate Evans & Mean Green £50 I think a lot of the Buss copies are pressed off centre which may be why the other press came out Link to comment Social source share

Wrongcrowd
Nate Evans & Buss - £150 Nate Evans & Mean Green £50 I think a lot of the Buss copies are pressed off centre which may be why the other press came out My copy of Buss plays fine on both sides, nothing off-centre. The explanation of group name from Buss to Mean Green being due to a possible mis-press seems a bit odd. Why change the name due to a pressing fault ? The UK demand for this drove the Mean Green re-press (legal or otherwise ?), which looked very close to the 1st press, and the reason I bought a Buss copy to be certain. Here's a complete guess."Buss" disbanded with member /members leaving, and the renamed "Mean Green" became to new backing band.(Money complications involving the re-issue.) boba
Here's a complete guess."Buss" disbanded with member /members leaving, and the renamed "Mean Green" became to new backing band.(Money complications involving the re-issue.) I bought a mean green one from someone here, thanks so much. Nev, I think I did bid on that record. I don't think mean green or buss were his band, I think it was just made up for the record. In Gary, IN Nate Evans was the singer for the band the Fabulous Kings, who later had a modern soul 45 in about 1980 (long after Nate left). Thanks everyone. Guest Brett F
I've both copies, personally cannot stand the 'Feeling' side, but love the flip, and it's my favourite of all the versions, not sure on off centre pressings, mines spot on and mint, Nev's right about the recent ebay sale, very cheap, not that easy to come by....
