Steve Plumb Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Anyone seen this before? I bought this at a do last weekend and proceeded to show it anyone and everyone who came by! Must admit that i got a lot of blank looks BUT does this not make you feel good looking at Brenda with Twin Globes or have I not been looking in the right boxes over the years? Please someone come on the thread and agree with me Cheers Steve
p0stscript Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 I've seen Every Little Bit Hurts / Land Of A Thousand Boys on the label

Tony A Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Sorry Steve. When read the title,I thought you meant the specialist dvd on my shelf. Trust you, but funnily enough I was thinking along the same lines. 1
Steve Plumb Posted March 14, 2012 Author Posted March 14, 2012 Yeah thought a few of you would think about your DVD collection OK looks like it's not as unusual as i thought? Anyway it's new to me and has taken it's pride of place on the shelves in the Motown section and the brown/yellow one now in the sales box Thanks to everyone who replied Cheers Steve
45cellar Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Yes, as already mentioned it's a West Coast STYRENE Monarch. They used the globe design longer than other pressing plants. Same thing happens with Gordy Badge / Script Design & SOUL Label. Can be difficult to find certain numbers from MONARCH compared to other pressing plants. Delta # 65505 Delta # 65503-X Checking the Delta # 65505 & 65503-X here >>> ANORAK'S CORNER Pressing Plant Info <<< on the MONARCH Chart dates it to around FEB / MARCH 1967 The RCA Matrix UK4M-2656-1- & UK4M-3228-1- Also Denotes 1967. You will find the RCA Matrix STAMPED on the Vinyl press too.

45cellar Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 I believe that was the case with the West Coast Monarch Press, they used the old design for a while after the design changed. We have some fantastic rarities because of it. West Coast Monarch ; >>> <<<
