Simsy Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Can't think of the title or artist, but it's a Walter & the Admerations esq type track, that goes something along the lines of "I say oh, oh, oh oh, how it feels to be free/me" or similar.. The "oh oh's" are prolonged & rising in harmony - maybe an obscurity, maybe not. Any ideas Soul Source?
Simsy Posted March 9, 2012 Author Posted March 9, 2012 Any ideas Soul Source? No not a one thus far - phil shields to the rescue!
Simsy Posted March 9, 2012 Author Posted March 9, 2012 This track from the Barrino Brothers played on the radio last night is what made me think of it - similar type of vibe, but earlier & less funky.. Anyone??? Can't be that rare!
Chalky Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 The Barrino Brothers reminds me of the Chambers Brothers - I Can't Stand It?
Simsy Posted March 9, 2012 Author Posted March 9, 2012 The Barrino Brothers reminds me of the Chambers Brothers - I Can't Stand It? You know what, that is quite similar also - but the one I'm thinking of is more doo wop with the prolonged "I said oh - oh - oh - oh" etc..
