Hammersoul Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 When i was after a copy of this, took me 3 copies before i found one which didn`t crackle.Few of em were mint looking,in the end one that played fine was only ex/vg++ so sounds like it`s not a pressing you wanna use crap needles on or rewind back.
Andy Reynard Posted March 7, 2012 Author Posted March 7, 2012 Thanks for everyone's input much appreciated !
boba Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 this is vinyl not styrene right? It's hard to cue burn a vinyl record. Also, I don't know how cue burn could cause a 20 second hiss, like someone repeatedly dropped the needle 20 seconds into the record and spun it back to the start multiple times? could be a pressing problem, or could be dirt. 1
Andy Reynard Posted March 7, 2012 Author Posted March 7, 2012 Cheers Bob will give it a in depth clean int morning worth taking care of as it's an£100 record, to a Yorkshireman like misen that's a lot o poke .
