Arctic Bootleg?

Has Ambassadors "I really love you" on Artic been bootleged? I got a M- copy today and it does not look like my older copy..this one is even a styrene copy!

According to John Manships guide, "All Arctic styrene release with Torquoise Label are 2nd issue re-released by Jamie Guyden in the 70t's.

Hope that's of some help.

This one by Kenny Gamble is STYRENE and was released in the 70s for the Northern Market

"Torquoise Label are 2nd issue" as already mentioned.

However ;

Some Arctics were pressed at Monarch and are also STYRENE

These are West Coast Monarch Originals pressed at the time of release.

Note the Blue ARCTIC with Black Credits. Delta # 69164 Places Arctic 137 November / December 1967. >>> ANORAK'S CORNER <<<

Not sure which Arctics were released by Monarch, as I'm still discovering them.

i.e (Arctic 137 is more commonly found as a Vinyl Press.)

Those reissues are just for the regular US buyers market, there are a bunch of barbara mason reissues too.

hello everybody. my first post and already a question :)

I recently came across this b. mason 45 and was puzzled about the label design: it misses the second (smaller) penguin on the upper right and philadelphia is not mentioned at the bottom. this is obviously a repress but does anyone of you know whether it was done in the 70s as mentioned above or is it a rather recent repro? thanks for any information.

the font on that looks very recent, like from the 80s/90s/00s

thanks for the replies. I am still wondering why there are bootlegs of 45s that are not rare at all...the demand of the northern scene can't be that big.
