boba Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 Those reissues are just for the regular US buyers market, there are a bunch of barbara mason reissues too. "I really love you" was a hit for the ambassadors
45cellar Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 This one by Kenny Gamble is STYRENE and was released in the 70s for the Northern Market "Torquoise Label are 2nd issue" as already mentioned. STYRENE However ; Some Arctics were pressed at Monarch and are also STYRENE These are West Coast Monarch Originals pressed at the time of release. STYRENE Note the Blue ARCTIC with Black Credits. Delta # 69164 Places Arctic 137 November / December 1967. >>> ANORAK'S CORNER <<< Not sure which Arctics were released by Monarch, as I'm still discovering them. i.e (Arctic 137 is more commonly found as a Vinyl Press.) boba Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 I have no idea about this specific reissue but it doesn't look like the 80s jamie guyden reissues which were styrene and had darker looking labels.

Platters 81 Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 wasnt Mike and Ike...the first Arctic bootleg.....as opposed to reissue?
Guest alexander Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 (edited) thanks for the replies. I am still wondering why there are bootlegs of 45s that are not rare at all...the demand of the northern scene can't be that big. Edited May 15, 2012 by alexander
