let me explain this a little better so it doesnt confuse anyone else..FLIPSIDES of northern,funk,deep soul records..dont matter ..send me a list of ballads that you dont want if I see something of interest I will cash you out..thanks for your comments

that example I would class as sweet soul then also on the ballad theme there would be deep soul like this

which is quite a bit different in sound but is also slow and also classed as ballads by some people.

this is quite a general categorisation but there is a massive difference between sweet and deep in sound and I enjoy both but have far less knowledge on the sweet side of things.

I agree dylan..when I think of deep soul..the distinctive sound of otis redding,james carr and percy sledge come to mind..definitley lots of ballads
